A GRAPHICS NEO-PULP SERIES
"I AIN’T AFRAID OF NO GHOST!"... says
pulpster Bobby Nash!
The news is out about an upcoming project that I’m involved with and I’m excited to share the news here. I will be writing the adventures of GHOST GAL, based on real-life ghost hunter, Alexandra Holzer, daughter of the famed Hans Holzer.

Alexandra Holzer’s GHOST GAL as a fictional series of novels based on her exploits as a budding parapsychologist.
“GHOST GAL is neo pulp with a touch of gothic romance.” says the late publisher Michael Hudson. “We’re setting the series in the late 1950’s to early 1960’s to take advantage of the post World War II paranoia that was present as America was undergoing the McCarthy witch hunts, the fear of the atomic bomb, and the numerous representations of the alien invader that characterized the late twentieth century perceptions of 1950’s America. Ghost hunters were plentiful but only one stood head and shoulders above all the rest. His name was Hans Holzer, the creator of the Holzer Method. This series centers around his headstrong but lovable daughter, Alexandra, who after college has just hung out her shingle to follow in her famed father’s footsteps as a paranormal investigator. Of course this leads her into adventures far beyond the realm of belief. But how she solves various mysteries along with the help of her beloved father, mother and fiancé will provide plenty of chills, thrills and a treasure trove of character development. You are going to care about these characters."
Ghost hunting, the world of art, film, literature, and dysfunction comes life cycling from the past to the present for the daughter of a famous ghost hunter and a Russian countess.
Take a deadly roller coaster ride with two domineering and spiritually protected families, as Alexandra Holzer relates her haunted life with her father, Dr. Hans Holzer and her mother, Countess
Catherine Buxhoeveden.
You will learn how they were transformed from the early 1200s through today by an emotional and frightening, yet reflective, story. It follows a pre-destined timeline propelled by those in-charge
of unearthly worlds.
From the daughter of ghost hunter Hans Holzer and artist Countess Catherine Buxhoeveden, comes the next generation in ghosts, the unexplained and fantasy worlds.
Ambrosia is a pretty and tall young woman with a buttermilk smooth completion and multi-coloured hair who attracts the attention of men wherever she walks. She happens to work in a bookstore and café, which is owned by Ms. Edna.
Lately, Ambrosia believes she has been imagining things such as seeing Mrs. Edna floating above the floor and falling books magically return to their original places. Then she witnesses Ms. Edna struggling with a large book when it suddenly opens and she vanishes literally into the pages of this mysterious tome!
Trying to rescue her employer Ambrosia lunges for the book and desperately attempts to open it. It refuses to obey so she loads the huge book into a cart and pulls it back to her apartment.
A stranger knocks on the door and warns her not to open the book. Not deterred by this harbinger, she refuses to admit defeat and defiantly battles on. As Ambrosia's exhaustion nears the book surrenders its contents by exploding open flinging her across the room crashing her into a closed door. Her mind, still spinning from the impact, becomes alarming aware that she is being sucked into the now open book.
